post.title: confused on terminology build-tool and web-framework

comment_excerpt: Frameworks help you structure your codebase. Think of them like the steel beams that hold up a building: * They help you keep your codebase consistent. * They usually have a supporting community, which is helpful when you have a problem.
post_excerpt: learning web-development feels obscure, all the terminology involved get's overwhelming. what is the definition for build-tools and web-frameworks? I understand that web-frameworks use build-tools, but [https://million.dev/docs](https://million.dev/docs) states that next.js, and remix are build-tools? so I'm kinda lost on where the line is drawn between what is a web-framework and what is a build-tool. a clarification would help, thank you.

post.title: How should I store my blog posts?

comment_excerpt: astro + mdx
post_excerpt: I'm thinking of making a blog site using Postgresql, Express and React. But I don't know how I should store blog posts. I know I should store them in database, there'll be a common template for all the blog posts like user's avatar and name at the top, article in the middle and comments at the bottom. But I couldn't find out how to do that. Another question, is it possible to write posts in a markdown file and directly post it to the article section in a blog post?

comment_excerpt: There was a time before S3, some of us lived through it. We would just FTP it to some shared file server.
post_excerpt: Let's say you want to make a small proof-of-concept depositfile clone, but you don't want to use S3, which is the best solution. How would you store the files and why? Just dump it inside the docker filesystem?

5 preview records · 0 image excerpts · dictionary and README. The public kit is for preview evaluation. Full data requires a confirmed version and delivery list.
